It has been a tradition for me that I photograph the first load of laundry that I hang out in the spring. Usually that happens towards the end of April. Usually there is a carpet of blue Scilla showing up in the picture and the laundry gets hung out from then on! Not so this year. May 20th was the day. Up until then the days were either too cold or too rainy. That day was perfect, cool, with a light breeze blowing and in true Ontario fashion two days later it is so hot everyone is panting!!! We seem to swing between extremes here in good old Ontariar-io! I often wonder how the pioneers managed the extremes and un-predicability of our weather.
